It is with great sadness that we are asked to pass on the news of the death of John Langford, known to us all as John the Fish. John was the gentlest of men and the ‘Father of Folk Music’ in Cornwall going right back to the days of the Count House in Botallack. Known also for his work with Brenda Wootton that made him a household name, he hosted the Radio Cornwall Folk Programme until it was axed in 2002 and was also a Humanist Celebrant. RIP John, you will be much missed.
