We’ll be in Court 2, Shire Hall rather than the regular St Petroc’s Parish Centre on Friday 3rd June.
Bodmin Rotary Club have organised a whole town event for Friday June 3rd called Music for All, with different genres of music in various venues within Bodmin Town.
They invited Bodmin Folk Club to join in this festival and we agreed to move, for one night only, to Shire Hall (Court 2) . It can be found directly opposite the entrance to Priory Road Car Park.
We were originally running our usual Open House Night there, and there will still be plenty of time for our regular performers and we hope you will all come along for this one-off move on Friday 3rd June.
There will also be two groups coming in to sing and play : Flash Jack, who are a lively talented bunch of singers and instrumentalists who all live locally and are well known on the folk scene for their wide repertoire of material ranging from pathos through to hilarious; plenty of joiny in bits too. The second group is InCinq who are also from various parts of Cornwall – harmonies with guitar and fiddle accompaniment.
More information can be found on the Rotary Club website. Bodmin Folk Club looks forward to seeing you in court……
